Business Administration Diploma Program
The Business Administration Diploma Program
exposes students to the most relevant aspects of international
business management and administration. Students explore and
develop the essential skills of problem solving, communication,
leadership, personnel and motivation techniques, business
planning and analysis, management decision-making methods,
case studies and computer applications. The business knowledge
and transferable skills acquired will promote progress within
the business environment. You will learn the skills necessary
in order to obtain a job in your chosen profession.
Upon completion of this program, students
will receive a UCCBT Diploma in Business Administration after
completing the full program and internship component. Students
who achieve a 90% average will receive a UCCBT Honours Diploma
of Business Administration.
Students gain valuable and practical experience
after completing the General Certificate and the Honours Certificate
by doing hands-on and realistic work at a real work environment
as part of our internship placement opportunity. The internship
consists of between 40 hours and 8 weeks of voluntary participation
and practical experience.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must meet the following requirements to enroll
in the Business Administration Diploma Program:
Grade 12 or Equivalent or Mature Student Status (19 years
of age or older).
Passing score on the UCCBT Entrance Examination.
For students who were educated in a country where English
is NOT the official language, students must meet the following
criteria:
TOEFL score of 557/220/83 and/or a TOEIC score of 750+ (or
equivalent).
Transcripts of at least one year of post-secondary education
(if applicable). Certified copies of transcripts must be sent
to and be evaluated by UCCBT.
For students who transfer from Study English in Canada, Inc.
(SEC), the following criteria must be met:
Successful completion of SEC Level 8 or higher (or equivalent).
