Interpretive Linguistics Duration: 8 Weeks
If you would like to put your exceptional language skills to use, consider UCCBT’s Interpretive Linguistics program. Students will acquire the skills necessary for successful translation of written and oral texts. With these fundamental interpretative linguistic skills solidified, students will be able to pursue a career in language interpretation.

Admission Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements to enroll at UCCBT:
Grade 12 or Equivalent or Mature Student Status (at least 18 years of age)
Passing score on the UCCBT Entrance Examination.
For students who were educated in a country where English is NOT the official language, students must meet the following criteria:
TOEFL score of 557/220/83 and/or a TOEIC score of 750+ (or equivalent).
Transcripts of at least one year of post-secondary education (if applicable). Certified copies of transcripts must be sent to and be evaluated by UCCBT.
For students who transfer from Study English in Canada (SEC) the following criteria must be met:
Successful completion of SEC Level 7 or higher (or equivalent).
