UCCBT also provides international students with an ESL Program to supplement their academic programs at the college. Through an integrated approach, students work on all of the four language skills in order to improve their English ability. We offer students a choice and/or combination of morning and afternoon classes. During each morning class, students work individually, in pairs and in groups to complete exercises and activities focusing on the refinement of their language skills. In the afternoon, students can communicatively practice and reinforce the morning grammar points in the Oral Communication classes as well as improve their listening and pronunciation skills through focused communication courses or elective studies.

UCCBT will advise which study option is suitable for you based on a language assessment and interview provided by our partner institution, Study English in Canada, Inc. (SEC).
